What's this film?

Post by Matt Nefarious »

I've been thinking of this film I saw about 20 years ago and can't remember what it is for the life of me.

It wasn't very good but it just bugs me that I can't remember it. It was a slasher type of thing that may have been set in a villa in Spain or something...

It definitely included a character with white harlequin face paint who ran around with a guitar and a little amp strapped to his back being an irritating git and only 'talking' with his guitar. He got killed at some point too.

So, any takers? What was this damn film? It's doing my head in!

I believe it's called Home Sweet Home (1981). I saw it a while ago and it's pretty terrible.

Have you seen every film ever made? When someone in the office asks what a film is, I always think I should just ask Street :D

How about this one. I remember seeing a horror on tv years ago (80's) that had these little flying alien frisbee type creatures with sharp teeth that would attach themselves to their victims. I would liken it to a film like Tremmors, I racking my brain to remember what it was called any ideas?

I'm very sketchy on this on Matt it may well turn out to be nothing like Tremors as I've got the vaguest memories of it. Hopefully someone will know the name of it.

alien frisbees with teeth were used by an alien hunter in a film televised in the 80s called Without Warning.

Ha ha - Looks great! I'll have to check it out especially as it's got Jack Palance in it probably on as good form as in Hawk the Slayer by the looks of things. :)

I have one - a friend asked me to name the following...

"taped off tv around `85 i think, probably a US tv film, concerning a (salem?) Witch in a oil painting, burning at the stake, the painting
comes to life and the witch appears. Any idea
?"

Good catch, Richard.
