We all did. The sober, the drunk, the quiet and the noisy, the thursday-night die hards and the saturday morning latecomers, the sensible, the rowdy, the freaks, the geeks, the smokers, tweeters, hecklers, and even the downright troublemakers. Cash or card, we all paid for our tickets.
So before we hastily introduce rules to protect people from certain things that may reduce their enjoyment of the fest, remember the door swings both ways, and those you may seek to exclude are fully paid up frightfesters (and tax paying members of society) who also equally deserve to enjoy their investment in a weekend ticket.
So just because a drunk loud person has bought a ticket that gives them free reign to act like a pillock and ruin it for others?

Nah, this aint washing no matter how long your posts get :P
Thanks for the ride, sir.

To be honest, that's the one thing that got my goat a little there

I think that's the problem these days other people Pay the money too and think that entitles them to behave however they please but what people forget is the majority of folks here going to frightfest to see the films, to socialise with friends 'between' films aren't just paying the £150 ticket price, they're paying up to £500 for the entire experience including travel, hotels and maybe more if you include food.

So to expect a common decency from those around you, isn't that much to ask when the films are on.

That's really not what I was trying to get across in my over-long post, nobody has the right to act like a pillock and ruin it for others, i really hope nobody will and that we will all have a great festival.

You are absolutely right, my last post was far too long, thank god i forgot to cover who or what a Noel Clarke is.

Yikes! don't say that- i need the business!

I also suddenly feel the need to state that my shop is fully compliant with the smokeing ban, and i smoke out the front like everyone else.

See you all in August.
Don't worry, that is entirely on topic! :) e16 that sounds like a good seat, far back enough to be able to see subtitles easily too :)

Me neither! I have to say I was a bit worried when I started reading your post Mr. Bill, that it would just be an escalating rant, but you do raise some very good points in a very eloquent and erudite way, and more to the point I really enjoyed reading it!

You have raised points that many people might not think of when they simply give their opinion on mobile phone use in the cinema etc, and it is far easier to just say 'i don't agree with it'.

As far as i'm concerned, I think signal jammers will probably create more problems than it solves, as it immediately vilifies anyone with a mobile phone and makes them feel that the can't be trusted to use them in a considerate manner. This may be an appropriate option in some situations, but not for Frightfest I feel...

Which end/number was this? :( Maybe if Maniacal passes you a few of his Cadbuy's chocolate eclairs you could throw a few (chewed no less) :)

At least they're not crunchy...

Bag rustlers are selfish arseholes, along with their friends the coughers, sneezers and gigglers, they are a menace, in danger of spoiling the festival for a lot of people.
Until the time comes when I can have you all excluded, or preferably shot, just stay the hell away from G28, that's where I'm sitting (rushes back to topic).

Oh go on... I'll have a Chocolate Eclair if you're offering, they play havoc with my teeth but I am rather partial.

In that case I'll bring extra Piriteze, Sudafed and an inhaler in case people feel the need to punch me in the face.
