The BBFC just confirmed to me that the appeal has been made. Now we await the verdict.

According to a report on the Melon Farmers, the distributor has lost the appeal.

Sorry but this information was incorrect. Melon Farmers have updated their information and confirms that the date of the appeal has yet to be fixed. So again we shall see what happens. I'm not in the least bit optimistic.

Or, once it's actually been released somewhere, just import the DVD. Personally I can't get THAT excited about it, but once it's on the shelves somewhere in the world, it won't be too difficult to find. I'm surprised downloads and screener discs of some kind aren't already circulating widely.

To be honest, i COULD CARE less that there's another H/C film, but that would be a waste of energy. It's one of those films that has no real meaning behind it. If you want to see a film that tackles EXPERIMENTATION, then see THE SKIN I LIVE IN.

A very surprising decision by the BBFC. Cuts of only 2m+ when it was rejected just 4 months ago.

After finally getting around to seeing it all I can say is that it was quite cuttable from the start. So no reason why it should have been rejected. The main cut was the barbed wire rape, this appears anyway to have been the lengthiest cut. Sadistic violence cuts as well. Highly unusual in this day and age. I just feel the BBFC were getting a little carried away with some of these cuts.

Our Human Centipede 2 interview with Tom Six and Laurence R. Harvey filmed at our recent All-Nighter at the Vue, in London's West End has been viewed almost 5000 times in just over 2 weeks. There are also three signed Human Centipede 2 posters up for grabs.

You can find the interviews in the Frightfest TV section and the poster competition over on the FrightFest web site.
