I just returned from a double bill of Kotoko and Grabbers. Two completely different but great films. Grabbers was a lot of fun, and the perfect tonic to the harrowing (but superb) Kotoko. Other genre films that I have seen so far - and could feature in the line-up - are Guinea Pigs (which was programmed last year) which was a pretty average experience and Lovely Molly, which shares a lot with Kotoko but was to my mind not as successful.

Also I notice Grabbers has an early August Blu-ray release - I guess that means it probably won't show up in the main Fright Fest programme.

Am wondering if Berberian Sound Studio is going to be in the line-up. It's getting amazing reviews & is released on August 31st... so it's a possibility!?!

Premature Publication?

I'm not complaining.

As per usual, no research shall be done till I read the programme, don't need spoilers.

Can anyone see a list of the all the films all on one page? I'll hover my cursor over the menu and handwrite a list if I have to, but I thought I should double-check before I go through the hassle!

Nah.
I've just gone through the same shenanigans as you've described.
That's most of my paper supply gone!
I don't think the showtimes are there yet anyway.

I thought we were going to "enjoy" Drac 3D, but as Dario's being interviewed it looks like they'll screen a classic instead.
Let's hope for Suspiria or Deep Red on the big screen!! 8)

Not to put a damper on all the awesomeness, but i just checked the UNDERGROUND situation and pretty much the ENTIRE NORTHERN line is out tomorrow so if you'rE wanting to get to leicester square from WATERLOO it's gonna have to be BAKERLOO line to PICCADILLY CIRCUS then over on the PICCADILLY LINE or just walk obviously. Just means i'm gonna have to get up there EXTRA EXTRA early tomorrow.

Overall a good strong line-up, slightly disappointed that there is no ABC's of death, you're next or lovely Molly but hey ho can't have it all. My only gripe is that grabbers should be shown before cockneys v vampires on the first night so I could get an early night.
You think darkness is your ally but you have merely adopted the dark, i was born in it!!

Welcome to prime time, bitch!!

Thanks for the heads up Rue-morgue, guess this means we'll be walking from Waterloo too, I'd get up earlier but I hate the slow-stop-at-every-lamp-post trains so getting the first quick one of the morning; if we get a shuffle on should be joining the queue at just before 0700 anyway :D
