Film4 FrightFest 2015 news/update

Can I sort out any ambiguity once and for all about when tickets go in sale on the 4th July.

Festival and day pass sales will commence on Saturday July 4 at Noon. These passes will only be available online.

A festival pass this year will cost £185. Day passes are Thursday - £30, Friday and Saturday £60, Sunday and Monday £50. Single tickets this year will be £13.25.

So is there going to be a Sleepy Queue with no tickets, or just no Sleepy Queue this year? Unfortunately this will be the first year that I can't make any of the films since 2001... so not going to effect me anyway, but enquiring for more info for others . Just clicked the ticket link... which I could have done before posting...

Looking forward to seeing what the films are going to be this year. I hope all the Frightfesters have a great Frightfest, and best of luck to Alan, Paul, Greg and that bloke that shouts at people playing with their mobiles .

Shocked by all the titles leaks that I guess have come from CANNES FILM FEST. That's three I've seen.

All part of the fun. You can't blame the filmmakers for being excited about selection. I got a press release from an indie film last year that said it had been selected for FF. Asked Ian about it and he'd never heard of it!

Just over an hour to go. To be honest, Im not expecting any major blockbuster films to be shown. After Alan's interview it seems there is more focus on indie films as they are of a high standard. Let's hope so.

It took me ages to suss out where to see the programme as well. Go to the Frightfest home page and click on Events/Flims at the top of the screen (ignore the 'the films are here' link as that only seems to go to the news item)

Discovery films look pretty strong to me. I'm already pretty split about what to see on the friday as a result
