Oh bugger!Atari wrote:Thats what happened to me vealster. I've joined the queue again after noon. Hopefullly it'll work. The wait time is much longer now so fingers crossed.
That's what I was worried about ...
I joined at 11:55, and now my estimated time is going UP rapidly.
Do I quit and join again? Or chance it and stay until I get in into the screen? Aaargh!!

My wait time is going up. But I'm in the queue so that's good enough!

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015
Wouldn't worry too much. The Liverpool website used to do that to me a lot. Sometimes I'd be on there for two hours, but there's nowhere near as many people going for tickets on here so you shouldn't be waiting much longer. It's estimating another 11 minutes for me.MalJutley wrote:that doesn't look healthy. I'm stuck on 3 minutes for the last 10! hope i get in ok with no issues

Its about now that I bother that will all my ad-blockers and the like on my browser that turning them off to move between pages/pay will result in a reset.
This could take a while - of my own paranoid doing.

I was one of the lucky few... bought and confirmed. Horror screen.
Main screens are the same as last year

Well that was reasonably painless.
I used Firefox if that helps anybody, seemed to work without issue.

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015
Ok, so here's my experience up to now:
- I join the queue at 11.35, it says "12 minutes"
- I get in at 12:05
- I make my selection and confirm
- site gets stuck on loading the payment screen for a good 15 minutes
- suddenly the site refreshes and I'm back on the original queue, now saying "less than an hour"
All good? Is it the intended behaviour?

Selected my seats, now it's stuck adding them to my basket. Pretty certain it's going to time me out and boot me to the back of the queue again

And it did. Back in the queue again with an hour to go.
Sigh.

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015
It sounds like it's overcrowded even after the queue

I had tablets, smart phones and laptop open. Laptop was the one that did the job.
