The addition of the 4K Halloween screenings appears to have replaced the Blood Fest screenings so assume the latter has been withdrawn.

Don’t know whether it was brought forward but apparently it’s showing in Cineworld cinemas from the 17th August so its inclusion in the festival became pointless.

Better let Showcase (not Cineworld, my bad) know about it then: https://www.showcasecinemas.co.uk/film- ... VCtrkJc.97

Just found out something else about Blood Fest.

The Prince Charles are having a one off screening on Friday 17th as well at 6.20pm.

Check their website, it might be a one off "rare" London scrrening now! (although im away and cant make it - damn!)

Mixed on the schedule changes. I really wanted to see Blood Fest, and had it pegged as my replacement for Mega Time Squad, or Chuck Steel, neither of which I think I'll enjoy. It would have been nice to have Halloween in place of one of the screenings, but to replace it altogether is a shame. At the same time, I can imagine those Halloween seats going quick.

Like FranksWildYears, I need to avoid found footage or first person films. Watching the trailers is an essential part of identifying those films I cannot watch.

Ho hum, hopefully the links will be working soon......
The Devil's Doorway is found footage I believe. I haven't spotted any others so far, but I imagine some of the shorts / anthology segments may be found footage potentially. I'm not sure about Braid - it isn't found footage, but some of the comments about the film suggest that the camera work could be a problem for those of us who suffer from motion sickness - has anyone seen it yet to be able to confirm either way?

Very old-school style (the entire movie is 4:3 aspect ratio) so I'm not sure if it will suffer the usual shaky-cam that is mostly intolerable to people who get affected by it.
