OMG, someone else who knows ............trail of dead!
I'm listening to Alpha (hard to describe, but she's got this ultra sexual voice), a little Less Than Jake, and the Nightmare Before Christmas Soundstrack covered by Marilyn Manson.
Eclectic, but hey, it sums me up.
If anyone else has heard of Alpha I'd love to know what they think, or if anyone wants to hear some alpha, let me know and I'll send some!

Have you heard of my friends capital letter and comma?
No? Well perhaps you should try them sometime... correct usage will do wonders for your social life.

James Yorkston is supporting Rodrigo Y Gabriele on tour this month, gonna be at our venue at the end of the month...
As for me, at the moment I'm listening to the following:
Bat For Lashes - Kate Bush/Bjork type singer from Brighton with penchant for North American Indian imagery...
Midlake - seventies Americana sounding band championed by Jason Lee...
Revl9n - Swedish electro/punk band... bit like Goldfrapp...
Pet Shop Boys - bought their latest CD for £3 in Soho's M&VE last week...

Scores. Always scores.
This weekend I've been playing a lot by Basil Poledouris, who sadly died last week at just 61. CONAN THE BARBARIAN and DESTROYER, STARSHIP TROOPERS, UNDER SIEGE 2, and many others: ROBOCOP 1/3, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, FLESH + BLOOD, plus a lot of less blood-and-thunder works like the AIDS drama IT'S MY PARTY and the Gabrielle Anwar rowing movie KIMBERLY.

I saw trail of the dead a few years back when they toured for their first album. Absolutely incredible live, reminded me a lot Sonic Youth. I haven't really heard much of their stuff on record though.
Today its been:
King Diamond - Fatal Portrait
Marduk - Heaven Shall Burn When We Are Gathered
Kreator - Pleasure To Kill
I apologise for my tastes, but one of us has to be the stereotypical metal-head horror fan.

Music
Trail of the Dead - overrated sell-outs. Sorry, wrong forum;)
As I'm at work no mucis. But when I walked in:
The Dismemberment Plan - Washinston DC post-punk/indie. A band that really were underrated - i.e. no-one at the NME has heard of them.
Leikki - Finnish 70's rock influenced stuff with lots of electric organ thrown in. My Mother's Finnish, so I suspect I may have the country's biggest collection of modern Finnish indie and punk;)
Lift To Experience - post-rock/alt country (that reminds me, I was going to see if they'd ever released more than the one album).
Warzone - NY hardcore punk with big shouty choruses, but from before all the New York bands turned into crap death metal.
Mega City Four - the only decent band to come out of my hometown of Farnborough. Late 80's/early 90's act from when a lot of indie bands still had a punk thing going on.
