It's always fun reading these suggestions. Many are possible and will be in the line-up and others for all sorts of reasons will not. We will have a locked programme by the end of today, Monday 19th June, so not long to find out if any of the films suggested in these pages have made the cut.

Will the return to Empire mean we get the extra film back on the Sunday?
Also with us all back in one screen with one program I hope we get the midnight movie slot filled with the weirdest and craziest films of the festival. I really missed that since the move from the Empire and made sure I picked discovery screen films that felt midnight movieish, such as Knucklebones, Demons Rook, Bad blood, Night of something strange. I am looking forward to this year but I will miss the variety of choice.

No Sunday night slot. As for the other midnight slots you won't be disappointed.

the limehouse golem
the villainess
woodshock
errementari
killing ground
the bad batch
safe neighbourhood
jailbreak
the endless
arrrow 4K restoration of the thing with John carpenter in attendance :)

Pretty good chance that CULT OF CHUCKY will be at FF? It's released in the UK in October and we obviously had CURSE OF CHUCKY a couple of years ago.

Just seen that it's a straight to Blu Ray/DVD release in the U.S. so it would be nice to see this on the big screen at FF2017.
