The FrightFest boys. Boys is perhaps stretching it a bit, but anyway, meet the unholy quartet of FrightFest organisers. From left to right: Ian Rattray, Paul McEvoy, Greg Day and Alan Jones. FrightFest is organised by fans of the genre for fans genre. The FrightFest quartet connections within the UK film industry and European genre scene are unparalleled. Ian Rattray, film distributor and film booker with over twenty years experience within the UK film industry. Ian runs his own film booking and distribution company. Paul McEvoy, co-owner of the highly successful Cinema Store chain of shops that has branches in Central London and Nottingham. Paul is a long time horror and fantasy film fan. Greg Day an experienced film and Television PR, Greg has worked with Dario Argento, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Columbia Pictures. He is a former head of entertainment publicity at Channel 4 and head of Drama and Entertainment PR at FIVE. Finally, Alan Jones, an internationally renowned journalist and writer on the fantasy, horror and science fiction genres in all media and extensively travels all over the world covering the making of movies during their production. Giles Edwards, not pictured also chips in with his Gore In The Store column. Giles a DVD product manager, writes for Timeout.com and has ruffled geeks' and grammar aficionados' feathers alike writing for Creature Corner, Dread Central and CHUD under the faintly ridiculous nom de plume "straxboy". (don't ask)
