SPRING AWAKENING DAY - SURPRISE SCREENING March the 7th, 2009 found FrightFest back in its spiritual home in London's Prince Charles Cinema. Over the course of the day, six films unspooled for fans to enjoy including a surprise screening. It would be fair to say that the identity of the day's surprise film, Lesbian Vampire Killers had been widely guessed by FrightFesters beforehand. This did little to detract from the screening and the enjoyment of the film, which on the whole went down very well, and the guest turn-out, which even by FrightFest standards was large and glamourous.
