Bubba's Chili Parlour premieres in London at the FILM4 FrightFest on the 23rd of August 2008

SYNOPSIS - CAST & CREW - PICTURE GALLERY - REVIEWS - TRAILER

An homage to the 70's B-movie Drive In theater experience, including fake intermissions and commercials. The film itself is zombie horror: Bubba's Chili Parlor, a restaurant in rural Texas, becomes ground zero for a worldwide zombie epidemic after Bubba unwittingly serves chili infected with a mutated strain of Mad Cow Disease.

A young couple drives in rural Texas for a trip to the lake. A sign ahead: Bubba's Chili Parlor. They decide to stop. Meanwhile, at the Parlor, a young girl waits for her mother. She is reading William Golding's 'Lord Of The Flies', and in a quiet moment explains the book's lesson to Bubba: man is ultimately incapable of governing himself, and that the pig's head 'lords' over the boy's descent into anarchy. Unknown to Bubba, the chili he's about to serve her is infected with a mutated strain of Mad Cow Disease, created by the US Government. The young couple arrives. Chili is served. Anarchy begins, and the Zombie Lord, a regal, bloody, detached head, begins his reign from the Parlor parking lot.
