FABULOUS PROMO ALERT!
To promote the forthcoming US dvd and BR release of FrightFest favourite from Ti West (and if you attended last August you’ll know just how great the film is!) THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL. The film has inspired a wonderful promotional only old style VHS of the movie in keeping with it’s 1980’s set tone and style.
The film is still to be released in the UK – but the fine folks at Metrodome have the film lined up for a limited theatrical and then home video release – I’m also told that a similar retro promo edition is planned.. watch this space!
NEARING THE GOLDEN ISSUE 100
The latest issue of Canadian horror magazine RUE MORGUE is closing in on its landmark 100th issue. DAYBREAKERS is the cover story of number 97 in the magazines run.
VIDEO WATCHDOG
The ever brilliant VIDEO WATCHDOG hits issue 154. This time it’s those British TV icons THE AVENGERS on the cover.
PREPARE TO BE BITCH SLAPPED
Coming to the US home video formats on 2nd March through Fox Home Entertainment is the unrated cut of BITCH SLAP. We had a lot of fun with the guys and girls behind the film in Toronto and it’s good to see that the formats will be loaded with extras.
UK ZOMBIELAND RELEASE
Box office hit ZOMBIELAND will be hitting UK shores on dvd and BR on March 15th from Sony Home Entertainment. Oh, and of course it’s been announced that the inevitable ZOMBIELAND 2 will be with us next year.
