Re: Redwood
I was thinking the exact same thing after hearing the script was written in 2 days... Honestly, it was the worst film I saw by some distance (bearing in mind that I saw it instead of Attack of the Adult Babies). Of its many problems, it was missing a third act and the acting was, err, poor. You rea...
Re: Redwood
I enjoyed Redwood, it wasn't the best movie of the festival but it was better than a few we saw and offered a fresh look at the vampire genre. It wasn't perfect and could had done with a bit more polish on the script but there were no glaring holes and it had an interesting story with believe-able a...
Re: Deathgasm
It's the film 16 year old me would have loved, adult me really enjoyed it (though not as much as 16 year old me would have). A very fun film with a great sound track, a real pallet cleanser after Another Me

Re: Massive Thanks
Another thanks to the guys from me, it's our third year and we'd love to keep coming back as long as they keep running it. I found all the films great overall and even the weakest film I saw was worth watching (Berberian Sound Studio - pretty much flawless acting, fantastic cinematography and amazin...

Re: So, where are you sitting?
Speaking to Alan Jones/etc tickets sold out in record time this year, they were all gone in just less than 2 hours apparently. Which is quite amazing I think (given the supposed niche appeal of the genre)

Re: Films for FrightFest The 13th 2012
Thanks for the heads up Rue-morgue, guess this means we'll be walking from Waterloo too, I'd get up earlier but I hate the slow-stop-at-every-lamp-post trains so getting the first quick one of the morning; if we get a shuffle on should be joining the queue at just before 0700 anyway
