Also, what's up with Olyphant's gait ? For reasons best known to himself, he adopts a walk for the character not unlike a child with polio. His ambling along a hotel corridor reminded me of Jon Voight in Pearl Harbour ! That was actually one of the more faithful aspects. That's how 47 walks in the ...

The Invasion - This is actually pretty good. It's not as good as the 70s version but stands up well by itself. This time there are no pods, they are replaced by a (less scary) infection that changes you into an alien rather than replacing you with one. But it's still scary seeing the human characte...

the idiot in front of us complained about the jumpcuts and scratched reel!!!!! Well done Quentin, more of that please. The guy certainly sounds like he was ignorant towards the film's intentions. But "idiot" is a wee bit harsh, don't you think? Otherwise I agree with your commen...

I thought Death Proof was brilliant. The first scene with the girls in their car was a bit crap, cos they were annoying. But it only lasted about 10 minutes. But once they got the pub and especially once Stuntman Mike came along, I found it all thrilling and very entertaining. I found the dialogue s...

a trailer on the dvd :D Sounds silly but can you describe the trailer? Myself and ghoul drool saw a Buckaroo Banzai trailer years ago in the 80s, but this particular trailer doesn't seem to be on the internet anywhere. If it starts of with Buckaroo walking along to the end credits music, it's not t...

It's like Cannon Films never went away; this is exactly the sort of thing they used to do for Bronson and Chuck "Chuckles" Norris And all the better for it  I love those movies and thought Death Sentence was no different. Though, like Soulmining says, it has it's flaws. SPOILERS For ...
