Some really nice visuals... the baddie looked great, and the sets seen whilst the three were tied down looked really good. But the audio was too loud and busy, and the plot didn't know where it was going. Finally finished off with a cop-out ending.

Yeah enjoyed it but I wanted to know more about why the killer was doing what he was doing, but then it didn't need explaining because of that ending, which was a cop out and a shame..and yeah the audio was bit too loud through most movies on that day apart from THE HORSEMAN...
DROP LIKE A HEAD CHOP!
I'm sorry but I really didn't think much of this one at all. It was just rubbish! I really don't see how this film is supposed to be responsible for bringing back Italian horror! Argento? Fucli? Bava? Deodato? The film's closer to a Uwe Boll film (okay maybe not THAT bad )

Hm ok - so thats what Crystal Maze guy has been up to lately. This one really didnt grab me as I can never really understand those movies where someone goes off to a desolate place (hmmm mountain biking in some foggy ass-end of Europe) and then go out of their way to piss-off some nutters in a big-ass truck with big ass-guns and a satan-hound. Big cop-out of an ending.
Future of Italian Horror? Oh I do hope not.

Have to say this was the first film of the weekend that I wasn't particularly impressed with. I never get on with movies which ultimately take place in a non-existent or fictional reality and, like Jacob's Ladder (which is undeniably creepy) or 1408 (which isn't), once it's established where the bulk of the movie is taking place, I lost some interest. It's good looking, but I don't know that it's the future of Italian horror.
