Agreed, really loved this one. Genuinely funny, and (hope this doesn't sound patronising!) a "proper film" - I was expecting something a bit amateurish! Was amazed to learn at the end that most of the cast were fellow high school students.

Now need to seek out Emily's earlier films - interested to see what she comes up with next, particularly if she can work with a slightly bigger budget.

Didn't get round to asking in the Q&A whether Patrick Delgado is related to Roger Delgado :)

The pacing was off but considering the circumstances a solid effort.

I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would too. Those of you who want to see more should check out the documentary Zombie Girl: The Movie, which is about Emily making her first film, Pathogen, at the age of 12. (I mentioned this when I asked Emily a question on the Monday, for those who were there for that Q&A.) Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTBC-00AhGM

Sky Arts are showing Zombie Girl this Sunday Night!
Zombie Girl The Movie
1:15am on Sky Arts 1 HD

95 mins.

Inspirational documentary following the making of 12-year-old Emily Hagin's zombie film Pathogen. Premiering to a sell-out audience, it was her mum who helped her realise her dream.
