ACCOMMODATION 2013!!

Post by theboxmanking »

Is the High Holborn Halls really booked up for 2013 already!? I just went on the site to see what the prices were (wondered if they had come down any from this year) to find they were booked up, along with the Northumberland House Trafalgar too!.

Have I missed something?

I could be wrong but I don't think they open booking until much closer to the the time, might be worth checking again later in the year.

You could be right guys. Thought it strange though as I could book for the other LSE venues around London for those dates. We'll see.

I usually book HHH in January but it sold out really quick this year so make sure you get booked up as soon as you can. I love HHH it's only somewhere to sleep and have breakfast so it's perfect.

Anyone got any cheap recommendations for Glasgow ? ( I normally happy in staying at HHH in August) as I'm considering my option for next year.

Suggestions for an alternative to HHH? I wasn't going to go the FF this year, but have changed my mind - HHH appears to be sold out now.

HHH isn't sold out, TravelStay just aren't selling the rooms for them. You have to go through Booking.com or HHH official website

Is anyone going to actively boycott HHH after last years nonsense price rises?

Or is it just too cheap again this year to resist?

Never stayed there, but seeing as decent accommodation seems to be available for not much more then I'll continue to use Hotwire for a discounted hotel.

We've booked the Z Soho Hotel. It looks a bit poncily pretentious but to crash for the night it should be fine. Saying that, though, we're only able to come for Sat/Sun, so only need an overnight bed which is £102. Not sure how silly prices would be for those who can make it for the whole festival.

We've stayed at the Z - we didn't really spend much time there, but it wasn't bad at all :)

Booked the HHH... think it worked out to be about £125 each for 4 nights (Two ppl sharing a twin room)

I've also booked at HHH, and five nights at about £38 a night ain't bad for the West End of London on a Bank Holiday weekend. You're only really there to sleep and eat breakfast anyway, so there's no real need for the trimmings.
