Paranormal Diaries: Clophill

Post by Alex J »

I found this dragged a little, with the documentary-style investigation building very slowly to a little more exciting climax that aims to chill rather than be spectacular. I appreciated the twists and the makers' intentions, but I found it all a little underwhelming, despite the intent to have an ending different to the usual generic conclusions. 6.5 / 10
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

Seeing as how I hate found-footage with a molten-iron fury, I shoudl mention that I only went to this one because I live eight miles from Clophill, so it has some local interest. However, it has no cinematic interest. More of the spooky green night-vision camera mode, more people clumping round a creepy location in the small hours of the morning looking for ghosts and maybe finding something, or do they? I was bored senseless. Enough with this Most Haunted thing. Please.
