The Sand
The Sand
Saturday night....creature feature with a pretty young cast...what could possibly go wrong? Sadly most of it. There was a lot of dead time when nothing happened and when it did it was characterised by lame humour and dodgy CGI. Oh for a few decent gross-out physical effects. Maybe in the sequel...

Re: The Sand
I thought the tension was very good. Most of the decisions the characters made were very resourceful and while it did have the generic "lets talk about something really important while we should be focusing on something"... I wouldn't want that stuff stuck in my head during that situation either.
Re: The Sand
it was largely the SYFY level cgi that let it down i thought, with that improved you more or less have Tremors for the current teen crowd.
(and i mean that as a good thing, cos tremors is awesome.)
