Coverage of the fourth annual Scream Awards, held in Los Angeles to honour excellence in the fields of sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic books. This year's ceremony is to feature Stan Lee - whose creations include X-Men and Fantastic Four - and George A Romero, the influential horror movie director. There's a chance to see an exclusive clip from the upcoming film, The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Plus, as well as appearances from Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, Quentin Tarantino and Sam Raimi, rock legend Keith Richards will receive a very special honour.

this was utter bollocks,the industry back slaps itself on tv,where the categories just didnt make sense,but were aimed at promoting new films,a rather portly quentin tarantino told everybody how great george romero is like he just discovered him,but in QTs world you dont exist unless he name drops you.
i hated this totally fake garbage award rubbisht,lets hope its the end of the scream awards for good.

And the prize for most pointless and fake awards ceremony goes to....
Yeah, this was so so awful. First award was for "Most Anticipated Fantasy Film" (!!) Eh??
Now films get prizes just because the audience are hoping that they're good ??!
The whole thing was just a marketing exercise pure and simple.
