The Witch in the Window

A very effective slow-burning chiller that made the hairs on my neck stand on end multiple times - the only film to consistently do this. I thought the relationship between the father and son was exceptional (even down to the parts where the son copies his father's mannerisms), while the witch herself was suitably creepy. I'll be sure to check out the director's other work now too. 8 / 10
