Face coverings are no longer compulsory as of July 19, in line with recent government guidance. However, we are encouraging FrightFesters, Festival employees and our festival volunteers to continue wearing face coverings. We will provide face masks to our team.
Capacity caps and social distancing are no longer required in cinemas in line with recent government guidance. We will not be implementing social distancing measures across all areas within the cinema. However, if required to do so in line with local government guidelines, we will. We plan to work towards capacity audiences.
FrightFest will participate in public health authorities' Coronavirus (COVID-19) Contact Tracing schemes in England. Would you please use the QR codes located around the cinema each time you arrive?
Cineworld, our hosts, regularly sanitise high touchpoints throughout the cinema with a dedicated 'Hygiene' team member. Hand sanitiser stations are provided in all cinemas for FrightFesters, employees and volunteers. Use them.
If for any reason FrightFest or Cineworld needs to cancel an event, we will refund the face value of your ticket(s), minus the booking fees. This will be refunded directly back to the card used to purchase the tickets.
We, unfortunately, will not be able to offer a refund for the following reasons:
If you change your mind
Any travel disruptions
If you fall ill and are unable to attend
If you have accommodation or travel booked that is affected by any cancellation, you will need to contact these directly to see if they can offer a refund.
If you test positive or have to isolate yourself during the festival, we expect you to adhere to the government guidelines and DO NOT attend the event.
If you wish to re-sell your tickets, we are happy to help with this. Otherwise, we would ask you to contact email@example.com to discuss your options (credits, alternatives etc.).
If you do have any symptoms, please do not attend the cinema. Please stay at home and follow the government's guidelines.
